In honor of the passing and the legacy of George H.W. Bush, our 41st President,
The ClearRock Team took to our local communities yesterday.
Our Ketchum team spent the afternoon at Mountain Humane, Idaho’s first “no-kill” animal shelter. ClearRock Senior Investment Advisor, Renee Faltings currently serves as Board Treasurer and is most proud of their mission to make Idaho a “no-kill” state by 2025. She added, “We hope to leverage our expertise and resources to be a catalyst for the entire state to decrease by 100% the number of healthy, adoptable Idaho animals euthanized by 2025.”
In San Francisco, the Team visited the Community Housing Partnership (“CHP”) headquarters to help prepare their 17 supportive housing buildings for the holiday season. CHP is an outcomes-focused nonprofit that fulfills its mission by developing and managing high quality supportive housing and providing services to homeless individuals, seniors, and families to help them rebuild their lives and break the cycle of homelessness. Board Executive Committee member and ClearRock CEO Mark Eshman noted, “It’s important that each of us is mindful of the good fortune we share, particularly during the holiday season. It’s tough to ignore the fact that 7,000 men, women, and children sleep on the San Francisco streets each night. For nearly 30 years, CHP has made a significant dent in the enormous issue of chronic homelessness.”
“We can find meaning and reward by serving some higher purpose than ourselves, a shining purpose, the illumination of a thousand points of light…we all have something to give.” –President George H.W. Bush
